the magic carousel is a clothing shop specializing in high-quality, unique vintage from the 1920s through the 1960s. beyond that, the journal you've found here is an amalgamation of all things fine and lovely - art, music, food or any earthly pleasure - and a sentimentalist's collection of musings and inspirations.

nearly everything i surround myself with is centered in nostalgia or antiquity, whether it be what i do, think, say, make or love. i'm particularly enchanted by the circus and children's fairy tales - the older, the more morose, the better. other things that excite me are avocados, elves, paper crafts, vaudeville, cats and ballet. i love film in any form and it's a true fact that i live my life from the insides of books. in my free time i enjoy taking and collecting photographs, playing make-believe, and listening to the blues.
